PJSC "Magnit" Announces the Opening of New Hypermarkets and a "Magnit Family" Store

Krasnodar, May 4, 2016: PJSC "Magnit", Russia's largest food retailer (the "Company"; MOEX and LSE: MGNT), is pleased to announce the opening of new hypermarkets and a "Magnit Family" store.

Please be informed that on April 26, 2016 the Company has opened its 161^st "Magnit Family" store.

The 161^st "Magnit Family" store is located at 7 Narodnaya street,Tyumen, Ural federal region. Assortment of the store consists of about 10,800 SKUs, out of which about 82% are food items. There are 18 cash desks installed in the sales area. The outlet is leased by the Company. The store is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 11 pm.

On April 28, 2016 the Company has opened its 226^th hypermarket.

The 226^th hypermarket (small format) is located at 1 Generala Shifrina street, building 1, Krasnodar, South federal region. Assortment of the hypermarket consists of more than 15,400 SKUs, out of which about 82% are food items. There are 21 cash desks installed in the sales area. The outlet is owned by the Company. The hypermarket is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 11 pm.

On April 30, 2016 the Company has opened its 227^th hypermarket.

The 227^th hypermarket (small format) is located at 15 Akademicheskaya street, building 1 ("Noviy Torg" shopping center), Kaluga, Central federal region. Assortment of the hypermarket consists of more than 17,100 SKUs, out of which about 76% are food items. There are 21 cash desks installed in the sales area. The outlet is leased by the Company. The hypermarket is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 11:00 pm.
