HANGZHOU, China, May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SANHUA Automotive recently held its first DFSS graduation ceremony. 24 product design engineers received DFSS "Green Belt" certificates on May 6 in the ceremony held at the SANHUA Automotive Research & Development center located in Hangzhou, China. The event marks the first time that an automotive thermal management supplier in China has awarded selected engineers with DFSS "Green Belt" status. Intensive DFSS training was initiated in May 2015 and the candidates were given 55 hours of classroom instruction. Candidates were also required to apply DFSS techniques to new design projects that they currently manage. On-site training and external audit certification was performed by IEG International. This year SANHUA Automotive will expand the DFSS training program into the manufacturing sector of the company and will also train more project design engineers. This recent event indicates that SANHUA Automotive is committed to responding accurately to the "Voice of the Customer" by building each new product design on a "House of Quality" DFSS foundation.
