AuRico Metals' Application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate for the Kemess Underground Project Enters Review Period

TORONTO, May 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

AuRico Metals Inc. (TSX: AMI) ("AuRico" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the 180-day review period for the Company's Environmental Assessment Certificate Application for the Kemess Underground Project commenced on May 11, 2016. The British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office is managing the environmental assessment in a Substituted Process on behalf ofBritish Columbiaand theCanadian Environmental Assessment Agency.
