These chemicals harm not only smokers, but also second-hand smokers who inhale the smoke in public spaces. Another area where the harmful effects of tobacco are witnessed are in tobacco farming, where young children from underprivileged families are often employed.

Further, the report states that the side effects associated with drugs and therapies may hinder market growth.
