As part of the agreement, P.I. Works will be using their own proprietary, centralized SON (Self-Organizing-Network) solutionuSONTM, which allows to solve capacity and coverage issues inTelefónicamobile network.
As a result ofTelefónica'sextensive evaluation of P.I.Worksservices and solutions, radio access network quality has been improved, while network overload has been reduced. This has improved subscriber mobile experience, and reduced the need for base station upgrades.
