Last Month Watchdoc.co.uk released a new tool to make life easier when it comes to replacing your watch battery. The tool allows Casio wrist watch owners to find a replacement to their current battery simply by entering their Model number without having to take the back of the watch off. The Casio Watch Battery Finder supports a wide variety of models and variations and is subdivided into the styles listed below:

- Bluetooth Sports Gear
- Classic
- Databank
- Dress
- Edifice
- G-Shock
- G-Shock S Series
- Pro Trek
- Sports
- Wave Ceptor.
It is worth pointing out that a press release posted on the site on the 24th of April states that the tool is in beta and data stated by the tool should be double checked. The Post reads:
"Please also note, many Casio watches require two batteries to run, we recommend checking if you require multiple batteries for your watch before purchasing. Please double check the information provided by this tool before making a purchase."
The previous watch battery tool released by Watch Doc, a British company, allowed you to find an equivalent battery to whatever you had in your current watch. It allowed you to enter your current batteries brand and model from a select list (listed Below) and it would suggest an equivalent the company had in stock.

The tool was not complete and did only offer assistance with equivalent batteries the company had in stock. The new tool was covered by Spanish Casio Aficionado blog again where comments stated the tool was incomplete but it was accepted as a good piece of work and found to be helpful in the Casio community. We reached out to Watch Doc to ask if they intended to create more tools in the future or if they had plans to upgrade their currents one, they replied the following:
"Currently we are a small company trying to offer our customers as much help as we come when it comes to performing simple watch repairs. Our tools aren't always perfect and we will work on them when we can and obviously we are going to focus on supporting mainly products we sell. In the future we would love to create more tools for other watch brands based on the feedback of our customers so watch this space."
