Zurich, July 8, 2016. - The Board of Directors of Conzzeta AG has appointed Oliver Pabst as the new CEO of Mammut Sports Group. He will take over from Rolf G. Schmid, who is leaving the Group by mutual agreement under the terms of the previously announced succession plan to seek a new professional challenge. Oliver Pabst will take up his post on September 1, 2016 and at the same time become a member of the Executive Committee of Conzzeta AG.
Oliver Pabst (50, a German citizen) served most recently for nine years at Munich-based Willy Bogner as Management Board member with responsibility for Sales and Marketing. Previous career milestones include service in the outdoor activities sector at Boards & More, at his family's own textile company, Gerhard Pabst, and as a senior associate at McKinsey. Oliver Pabst has an MBA from the universities of Nuremberg and Berlin and a doctorate from the University of St Gallen.
