WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Semiconductor stocks are seeing significant strength in afternoon trading on Thursday, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index climbing by 2.4 percent. The index continues to recover after hitting a one-month intraday low on Monday.
Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) and Cavium (CAVM) are turning in two of the semiconductor sector's best performances, jumping by 6.3 percent and 5.3 percent, respectively.
