ABI Research Forecasts AR Shipments in Industrial Industries Will Reach 16 Million by 2021
LONDON, Dec. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The augmented reality (AR) market in industrial industries, particularly logistics and manufacturing, will hit an inflection point in 2017 and grow by more than 400% over the previous year, forecasts ABI Research. This momentum will continue into 2018 with shipments expected to jump from 44,000 in 2017 to more than three million. Driving the majority of today's AR implementations in industrial industries are larger, multi-national corporations with aggressive R&D budgets and substantial ROI potential.
