DOCOMO PACIFIC, the largest provider of telecommunications and entertainment services in Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands, has selected Aptilo Networks to design and deploy carrier-class Wi-Fi services.

DOCOMO PACIFIC is using theAptilo Service Management Platform' (SMP), a highly scalable, state-of-the-art system to deliver and manage carrier-class Wi-Fi services. Aptilo SMP enables seamless authentication into the Wi-Fi network, which includes 1,000 hotspots in public areas, hotels, hospitals and apartment complexes.
Aptilo's multitenancy capabilities allow enterprise users such as hotel guests to roam between properties without the need for multiple logins. For example, users authenticated at one hotel will be recognized for Wi-Fi access at another hotel in the same chain. Users can register devices through branded captive portals which are tailored to suit the needs of each venue. Non- DOCOMO PACIFIC customers can register their Wi-Fi devices on the network by purchasing a temporary account or entering a prepaid voucher code.
Additionally, the flexibility of Aptilo SMP allows DOCOMO PACIFIC's hospital and hotel customers to accommodate the Wi-Fi requirements of each property. Each property can then offer their own Wi-Fi services for a fee.
