Rapha Rides, kicking off in May and continuing to cities around the world throughout the summer, is a travelling series of weekend rides and events to celebrate the sport of cycling in 20 selected cities. Rapha Rides has been created to highlight the people and ideas that make the great sport of cycling unique. Each weekend will include rides, films, talks and parties, with events centering around Rapha Clubhouses. Films will also be created for each Rapha Ride city; hosted on Rapha.cc/rides, they will be designed to resonate with residents and showcase the riding in each local area to a worldwide audience.
Rides - Curated by handpicked local riders, each Rapha Clubhouse will host rides throughout the weekend of the event. All rides will showcase the best and most celebrated routes and stops in each local area. Rides will welcome participation from all levels of cyclist, from short city loops to "Transfer Rides" with an overnight stay for the more adventurous. Routes will be printed and collated online as part of a Rapha Rides Roadbook, a digital city riding guide with downloadable routes.
Talks and Screenings - A series of talks and exhibitions on various subjects will be held in Clubhouses over the Rapha Rides weekends, relating to regional cycling knowledge and culture, and with special guest appearances by local legends.
