On February 22, 2018, Essex Property announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 6.3% increase to its prior quarterly cash dividend. The Board of Directors has declared a first quarter dividend of $1.86 per share, payable on April 16, 2018, to shareholders of record as of March 29, 2018. On an annualized basis, the dividend represents a distribution of $7.44 per common share.
