HiveIO Inc. appoints Dan Newton, cloud computing and technology leader, as new CEO

Dan has over 15 years of cloud computing and technology experience, delivering solutions for complex problems to some of the worlds most recognized global brands. Last August, HiveIO acquired and successfully integrated the technology and certain assets of Atlantis Computing, resulting in significant growth in its partner and customer base. Dan joins HiveIO from Rackspace following Rackspace's acquisition of Datapipe, a leading IT service provider where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Dan also held key leadership roles at Perot Systems and Dell's Physician Services Technology business unit.
