VEVEY (dpa-AFX) - Swiss nutrition, health and wellness giant Nestle SA (NSRGY, NSTR.L) announced Thursday the appointment of Chris Johnson as CEO of Zone Asia, Oceania and Sub-Saharan Africa or AOA, effective January 1, 2019.
Johnson succeeds Wan Ling Martello, currently CEO of Zone AOA and a member of the Nestlé Group Executive Board, who has decided to leave the firm on December 31, 2018 to explore new horizons. He has been with the company for seven years.
Johnson is currently Head of Group Human Resources & Business Services and member of the Group Executive Board.
Further, the Board of Directors has appointed Béatrice Guillaume-Grabisch, currently CEO of Nestlé Germany AG, to succeed Johnson as Head of Group Human Resources & Business Services effective January 1, 2019. In her new function, she will join the Nestlé Group Executive Board.
