TÜV SÜD Product Service has invested more than £400,000 in a new EMC and RF testing chamber, and will for the first time offer 24-hour testing services.
Based at TÜV SÜD Product Service's Hampshire headquarters, the new semi-anechoic EMC chamber is in addition to its eight existing ones, significantly increasing capacity to meet exponential market demand for a one-stop compliance service. The new 24-hour service will mean that tests can be completed more quickly, delivering manufacturers reduced testing costs and a shorter time to market for new products.
The new chamber will offer emissions and immunity testing to worldwide compliance specifications. This will support growing demand from manufacturers to access multiple global markets simultaneously for products which integrate increasingly complex electronics and wireless components.
