SAFEGUARDS | Cosmetics, Personal Care & Household NO. 099/18
Following the last update in 2015, Health Canada updated its Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist in June. This change follows the proposed amendment published last year.
The new hotlist includes amended requirements for four entries and a newly added prohibition on one colorant.

The cosmetic industry must pay attention to the new colorant ban, on Pigment 4, and the tightened limits for the preservative, Methylisothiazolinone.
