Turkish Exporters Feature on Global Stage at 1st International Product Exhibition and Conference

DOHA, Qatar and ISTANBUL, October 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

Leading Turkish Companies Convene to Sample Turkish Goods

Turkey's top companies will join the influential 1st International Product Exhibition and Conference (IPEC), between at 8th and 11th of October, Doha, Qatar. The trade fair welcomes Turkey's agriculture, food, industry and transportation sectors's firms.

Since Free Trade Agreement has been signed between Turkey and Qatar and this agreement will impact the trade between Turkey and Qatar in a positive way.

"In addition to Free Trade Agreement, Money Exchange Agreement has been signed off between Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey and Central Bank of Qatar recently" said Jak Eskinazi, Aegean Exporters Association (EIB) Coordinator Chairman. "And Qatar announced the decision of making investment of 15 billion dollars in Turkey, these agreements and news would yield positive trade opportunities for our firms."

The Turkish companies participating are: Asya Cadir, Les Benjamins, Islek, Sunny Fruit, Bizce, Kasab Kablo, Mecit Efendi and 10 various sector companies.

The leader sector in Turkey's export to Qatar is Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Sector, with 118 million dollar exports, whereas total exports of 2018 January-August period has increased 93% from 330 million dollars to 636 million dollar.

Electric and Electronics Sector and Chemicals Sector have shared 2nd row in exports with 75 million dollars. Ready-to-Wear and Garments sector records 45 million dollars exports.

9 Exporters' Associations and 17 exhibitor companies from Turkey will be presenting the finest examples of Turkish products during the fair.
