Mr. Tabatabai first began his martial arts journey in 1978 at Senior Grand Master Ed Parker's West Los Angeles American Kenpo School. When Tabatabai reached the rank of Master 5th degree black belt, Parker personally promoted him.
Mr. Tabatabai currently holds the rank of 10th Degree Black Belt (Grand Master of the Art) in American Kenpo, the spokesperson noted.
