Monthly Commentary

In May, the Third Point Offshore Fund suffered losses driven by negative performance in long equity investments, primarily in the TMT and Industrials sectors. Profits from short equity investments helped to mitigate these losses. The Credit strategy generated net profits due to positive performance from ABS investments. The Other strategy also provided modest gains from profitable Macro and Arbitrage investments.
