Announcement on Changing the Company Name to Complete the Industrial and Commercial Registration

Qingdao / Shanghai / Frankfurt, June 21, 2019 - Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. (D-Share ISIN CNE1000031C, A-Share ISIN CNE000000CG9, "Qingdao Haier" or the "Company") published a mandatory announcement in accordance with applicable trading rules of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and applicable PRC laws in relation to the Changing the Company Name to Complete the Industrial and Commercial Registration.

On 5 June 2019, Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. held the 28th Meeting of the Ninth Session of the Board of Directors and it reviewed and approved the Proposal on the Proposed Change in the Company's Full Name of Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd., the Proposal on the Proposed Change in the Company's Stock Name of Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. and the Proposal on Amending the Articles of Association of Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. and other relevant proposals. Upon the review and approval at 2018 Annual General Meeting held by the Company on 18 June 2019, it is agreed to change the Chinese name of the Company and change the English name of the Company from "Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd." to "Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd." and amend the Articles of Association accordingly. On 20 June 2019, the Company has completed the procedures of industrial and commercial registration for the above-mentioned changes and obtained the business license issued by Qingdao municipal market supervision and administration bureau. The relevant registration information is as follows:

The change of the full name of the Company has completed. There will be no change to the legal entity of the Company upon the change of the Company name. The cooperation conducted under the name of Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. prior to the change of the Company name will remain effective, and the agreements entered into shall not be affected by the change of the Company name and will be performed as agreed. All rules and regulations of the Company involving the Company name shall be amended correspondingly. At the same time, the Company will perform the obligations of information disclosure in relation to the change of stock name in accordance with the requirements of relevant law and regulations.
