(OTCQB:OPXS), a leading manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems for domestic and worldwide military and commercial applications, announced today it has been awarded $8.4 Million as part of a 24 month purchase order for laser filters manufactured at the Applied Optics Center (AOC) Division of Optex Systems, Inc.

This award is the result of working directly with our customers to meet the changing technical requirements of these next generation systems."
