MIDLAND, VA / ACCESSWIRE / August 14, 2023 / Smith-Midland Corporation (NASDAQ:SMID) (the "Company"), a provider of innovative, high-quality proprietary and patented precast concrete products and systems, today announced that it will file a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to provide notice of the late filing of its Annual Report on Form 10-Q ("Form 10-Q") for the period ended June 30, 2023.

The extension is related to the Company's transition to its new independent registered public accounting firm as detailed in the forthcoming filing of the Form 12b-25. The extension is not related to any of the Company's internal financial reporting processes or controls.
