LANCASTER, PA / ACCESSWIRE / December 2, 2024 / At The Exterior Company (TEC), our annual TECsgiving is more than a tradition-it's a day to give back to the Lancaster community and celebrate the spirit of thankfulness that drives us. This year's event brought our team together for a morning of impactful volunteer work and an evening of connection and reflection.
The day began with service projects at three incredible local organizations. At Water Street Mission, our team worked to clear leaves and debris, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for those seeking assistance. "Helping at Water Street reminded me that even small efforts can make a big difference in someone's day," said Project Manager J.T. King, reflecting on the experience.
At Teen Haven, team members organized and prepared facilities to support their vital youth programs. The work was both rewarding and inspiring. Project Manager Jeremy Damiano emphasized the importance of giving back: "It's a privilege to support a mission that empowers local youth. Events like TECsgiving remind us why community matters so much."
Meanwhile, another group headed to Blessings of Hope in East Petersburg, where they joined the effort to process and package food for families in need. "Being part of something that directly helps feed thousands of people is incredibly humbling," shared Mitch Witman, reflecting on the meaningful work done there.
The evening brought the TEC family together for a celebration of gratitude and community. Over dinner, we shared stories of the day's efforts, laughed, and connected, deepening our bond as a team. The event was a perfect reminder of how impactful teamwork and giving back can be.
