Zambia opens solar-plus-storage tender

Zambia National Energy Corp. Ltd. (ZNEC) has launched a tender to deploy solar plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the country's 156 constituencies under a national electrification initiative.ZNEC has launched a tender for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of 2 MW solar plants and 4 MWh BESS in all 156 constituencies of Zambia.
