LONDON (AFX) - European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said 12 customers made firm orders and commitments for 182 aircraft worth 21.5 bln usd at this week's Farnborough Air Show.
Airbus, owned by EADS and BAE Systems PLC, said in a statement that the firm orders were for 90 aircraft from airlines including India's Go Air, Air Caraibes, an unnamed private business jet customer, Aegean Airlines, International Lease Finance Corp, Air Asia, CIT Group Inc and Wizz Air.
