PARIS (AFX) - Airbus parent EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co) said first-half EBIT rose 6 pct on the year to 1.632 bln eur from 1.540 bln as sales jumped 18 pct, with all divisions contributing.
First-half net profit was 1.043 bln eur, up 5 pct from 992 mln.
Sales were 18.980 bln, up from 16.020 bln.
The company said its full-year outlook may be hit by non-recurring charges related to the changes in the Airbus A350 plane project, and by other expenses related to the A380 superjumbo jet project.
