ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EchoStar Corporation, the parent company of DISH Network, Boost Mobile, Sling TV, and Hughes Network Systems, today announced that it will change its Nasdaq stock ticker symbol from "SATS" to "ECHO" to better represent the company's expanding lines of business.
EchoStar's common stock will begin trading under the new ticker symbol "ECHO" on the Nasdaq effective June 24, 2026. The CUSIP number for the Company's common stock is not affected by the stock symbol change.

EchoStar's Legacy
EchoStar Communications Corporation was founded in 1980 selling C-band satellite dish systems to rural Americans. In 1995, after years of building a successful business, EchoStar opted to take its future to space, launching its first direct broadcast satellite to provide TV service nationwide. With this launch, DISH Network was born, delivering one industry-shaking innovation after another. In 2008, in recognition of this massive growth, the original company was officially renamed DISH Network and continued as a publicly traded company under the symbol "DISH."
