Vikram Solar has started PV module production at its new manufacturing facility in Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, with the rollout of the plant's first solar module. The facility is being developed in phases, with a planned annual module manufacturing capacity of 6 GW. The company said it also plans to add solar cell, wafer, and ingot manufacturing at the site to establish an integrated manufacturing campus.
