With the new nGenius Flow Collector, deployed in conjunction with nGenius(R) Performance Manager, customers can instrument and analyze large-scale NetFlow-enabled networks with fewer collector appliances and at a lower cost than with other NetFlow-based alternatives.
The new nGenius Flow Collector combines the highest flow collection performance in the industry, at over 100,000 flows/second and over 1 million NetFlow conversations simultaneously, and support for up to 1000 NetFlow- enabled interfaces in a single collector. NetFlow records sent to the nGenius Flow Collectors are aggregated and then analyzed by NetScout's comprehensive network and application performance management application, nGenius Performance Manager. NetScout's patent-pending CDM(TM) Technology provides the underlying architecture to map the details of the NetFlow information to the common, enterprise-wide views and reports of nGenius Performance Manager.
