SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Raytheon Co. said Wednesday that it has been awarded a $44 million contract from the U.S. Navy to produce 42 of its ALR-67(V)3 radar warning systems, used on the Navy's F/A-18E/F aircraft. The contract has three annual options valued at $116.8 million to call for 92 additional radar systems. Delivery of the systems will begin in October 2006 and will be completed by September 2007, said Raytheon.
