MILAN (AFX) - Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri is ready to launch an initial public offering in spring to fund growth and expansion abroad, said chief executive Giuseppe Boni in an interview Sunday with daily Corriere della Sera.
Boni also said the company will pay a dividend from its 2005 results, despite profits falling on higher steel and energy prices and insurance costs.
