FRANKFURT (AFX) - Private equity firm Terra Firma unit, Deutsche Annington Immobilien GmbH, is looking into securitizing part of its loan package, reported the Boersen Zeitung.
The amount involved was not given.
'We can either disperse a part of the bank debt on the capital market or securitize future rental income,' Annigton's German Head David Pascall told the newspaper.
Annington may owe as much as 7 bln eur to principle creditors including Citigroup Inc, Barclays PLC, Commerzbank AG's unit Eurohypo AG and the Royal Bank of Scotland PLC, reported the newspaper, citing unnamed sources from the banking industry.
Pascall also said Annington's plan for the immediate future is to 'first continue to grow', adding that there are no current plans for an initial public offering.
