SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- General Motors , bankrupt Delphi Corp. and leaders from the United Auto Workers held talks into Friday afternoon in hopes of reaching a deal for attrition and contract buyouts of thousands of Delphi employees, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. The report, which cited three people who have knowledge of the efforts, also said that talks could end Friday without an announcement.
