MOSCOW (AFX) - Israeli interim prime minister Ehud Olmert said Israel has reached an agreement in principle with Gazrom to be supplied with gas by the Russian company.
Olmert said on Moscow Echo radio he expects a definitive long-term supply deal to be signed in a year, then a pipeline will be built across Turkey to transport the gas.
