SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- ExpressJet Holdings Inc. after Monday's closing bell reported a 19.4% rise in March traffic to 891.1 million revenue passenger miles. Load factor, or the percentage of the plane filled with passengers, increased by 3.3 percentage points to 77.5%. Capacity rose 14.4% to 1.15 billion available seat miles. Separately, the Houston-based carrier said Thomas Horton has resigned from the company's board, in connection with being named as chief financial officer and executive vice president of AMR Corp. .
