LOS ANGELES (AFX) -- Technology stocks closed barely changed overall on Wednesday as investors continued to digest a slew of quarterly financial results that included those from Internet retailing giant Amazon.com Inc. Amazon's shares ticked slightly higher after it said its profit fell, yet met analysts' estimates, as stock-option expenses weighed. Overall, the Nasdaq Composite Index added just over 3 points to close at 2,334, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index eased 2.7 points, or 0.5%, to end at 513.5. Among shares of moving sharply higher in active trading following their results were Sanmina-SCI Corp. and RF Micro Devices Inc. This story was supplied by MarketWatch.
