LONDON (AFX) - Anglo-Dutch publisher Reed Elsevier rejected a private equity-led approach for its business publications arm earlier this year, The Sunday Times newspaper reported, citing sources close to the situation.
The newspaper named Cinven as leader of the informal approach and said the buyout firm is still interested in Reed Business, which analysts estimate could be worth more than 2 bln stg.
