KRASNOYARSK, Russia (AFX) - Russian energy giant Gazprom is planning to expand proven gas reserves in Russia's eastern regions by 6 trln cubic metres, RIA Novosti cited a company official as saying Saturday.
'Gazprom considers it possible to increase explored gas reserves in eastern Russia by 6 trillion cubic meters,' Alexei Mastepanov, advisor to the deputy chairman told an economic forum in Siberia, adding that in Krasnoyarsk Territory alone proven gas reserves could grow by 2.9 trln cubic metres.
