LOS ANGELES (AFX) -- RightNow Technologies Inc.'s deal to acquire privately held Salesnet Inc. was valued at around $9 million in cash, the company said in a regulatory filing late Monday. Bozeman, Mont.-based RightNow said Salesnet would add around $1.5 million to $2 million to its revenue for the remainder of the year, while increasing operating expenses by about $3 million. After the close of trading, RightNow announced the deal in a press release, but hadn't immediately provided a specific value for the transaction. The average of analysts' current estimates puts RightNow's 2006 profit at 20 cents a share on revenue of $116.5 million, according to Thomson First Call. This story was supplied by MarketWatch.
