PURCHASE, N.Y. (AFX) - MasterCard Inc., the world's second-largest credit-card brand, said Monday its chief risk officer, Chris Thom, 57, will retire in October.
Thom has been with the company for 11 years, said MasterCard, whose shares began trading publicly last month. The company plans to name Thom's successor soon.
MasterCard closed down 83 cents at $46.95 on the New York Stock Exchange.
