(AFX) - In a June 21 story about Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc., The Associated Press reported erroneously that the company will pay its quarterly dividend on June 19 to shareholders of record June 7. Instead, the dividend will be paid on July 19 to shareholders of record on June 30.
Also, in referring to the actual dividend amount, the word 'cents' was dropped from the first paragraph of the AP story. The reference should have read 21.5 cents.
A corrected version of the story appears below.
ANCHORAGE, Ala. (AP) -- Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc., the primary provider of telecommunications services in the state, on Wednesday said it declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 21.5 cents.
The company, which provides local telephone service, wireless, long distance, data, and Internet services, said the dividend is payable on July 19 to shareholders of record as of June 30.
