ROCKVILLE, Md. (AFX) - Manugistics Group Inc., a supply chain and revenue management company for clients such as Boeing, Harley-Davidson and Unilever, said Wednesday its shareholders agreed to let the company be bought by JDA Software Group Inc., which makes business software for the retail industry.
The company said the acquisition was approved Wednesday by about 62 percent of outstanding common stock held by shareholders of record.
The all-cash deal, which the company expects will close July 5, will bring $2.50 per share to Manugistics stockholders.
Manugistics fell 2 cents to close at $2.48 on the Nasdaq. JDA Software closed 22 cents higher at $13.70.
