WASHINGTON (AFX) - The Navy on Wednesday awarded communications products maker Harris Corp. a contract worth about $69.2 million for the procurement of a multi-band, multi-mission radio.
The contract was awarded to the company's RF Communications Division in Rochester, N.Y., where the work will be performed.
Contract work is expected to be completed by Oct. 25, 2007.
Shares of Melbourne, Fla.-based Harris Corp. fell 20 cents to close at $43.37 on the New York Stock Exchange.
