IRVINE, Calif. (AFX) - Lantronix Inc., a maker of servers that allow bar code scanners and security cameras to be accessed online, said Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Jim Kerrigan will retire before the end of calendar 2006.
The company is currently conducting an extensive executive search, and following his retirement, Kerrigan will continue to assist in an advisory role in order to ensure a smooth transition.
President and Chief Executive Officer Marc Nussbaum said, 'I would like to take this opportunity to extend my utmost appreciation to Jim for his contributions over the past four and one-half years. He has been instrumental in executing on the company's turnaround strategies and in developing and improving our systems and internal controls.'
Lantronix shares fell 2 cents to close earlier at $1.38 on the Nasdaq.
