FRANKFURT (AFX) - Shares are seen opening lower following losses on Wall Street on Friday and across Asia this morning after Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke failed to give any hints on the Fed's interest rate policy course at a speech on Friday, dealers said.
At 8.19 am, brokerage Lang & Schwarz predicted the DAX 30 index would open at about 5,799, down some 12 points from Friday's close at 5,811.47.
