WASHINGTON (AFX) - The Navy on Tuesday awarded a Boeing Co. unit a contract modification worth about $17 million for 10 automated test support systems.
The work, awarded to McDonnell Douglas Corp., is scheduled for completion by November 2008, according to the Navy.
Shares of Boeing, the world's largest aerospace company, rose 44 cents to close at $74.26 on the New York Stock Exchange.
