TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Nissan Motor Co Ltd will introduce heavy-duty pickup trucks equipped with 6,000cc to 7,000cc diesel engines in the US by 2009, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported, without citing sources.
The automaker plans to procure diesel engines from outside the group for the new model and assemble them at its plant in Canton, Mississippi, with the annual sales target to be set in the tens of thousands, the business daily said.
