WASHINGTON (AFX) - The U.S. Navy on Wednesday awarded a $45 million contract to a unit of defense contractor Raytheon Co. to provide depot services in support of the full recertification of up to 200 All-Up-Round Tomahawk missiles.
The pact, awarded to Raytheon Missile Systems Co. in Tucson, Ariz., covers missiles for the U.S. Navy and the United Kingdom.
The work is expected to be completed in April 2008, according to the Navy.
Shares of Raytheon added 18 cents to end at $53.63 on the New York Stock Exchange.
