AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Amsterdam shares closed flat, off intraday lows on Wall Street's positive start to the new year and buoyed by news the US manufacturing sector expanded in December, dealers said.
The AEX closed up 0.35 points or 0.07 pct at 501.35, after trading in the range 499.85-501.85.
