WASHINGTON (AFX) - Office Depot Inc. will remain as NASCAR's official office products partner.
Details of the multi-year sponsorship, including financial terms, were not disclosed.
'At Office Depot, we've been able to successfully translate our NASCAR sponsorship into sales driving activities and real bottom-line results for our business,' Tony Ueber, the company's senior vice president of marketing, said in a statement.
The Delray Beach, Fla.-based company, which became a sponsor of the stock-car racing association in 2005, will also continue to sponsor the No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion car, owned by Roush Racing and driven by Carl Edwards.
Shares of Office Depot dipped 29 cents to $38.68 per share in afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
